Glenn Abbott

RHP 1977-82, 84-90 Red Sox, Angels, Orioles, Mets, Dodgers

On the final day of the 1975 season, the 6’6″ Abbott combined with three other A’s pitchers (Vida Blue, Paul Lindblad, and Rollie Fingers) to no-hit the Angels. Claimed by Seattle in the expansion draft in 1977, he played for the Mariners longer than any other player on their original Opening Day roster, twice winning 12 games. He missed the entire 1982 season due to illness.
