Lum Harris

Harris had a good fastball and a fair knuckler, but he pitched for poor A’s clubs. His 21 losses (including 13 straight) in 1943 were the most in the AL. In the most successful of his years as manager of the Braves, he led Atlanta to the 1969 NL West title. The Mets swept the LCS.
