Marv Grissom

The 6’3″ 190-lb Grissom was 12-10 in 1952, his first full season in the majors. He starred as a reliever for the Giants from mid-1953 to 1958, winning 10 games and saving 19 in 1954, and also winning the first game of the WS that year. He registered his career-low ERA of 1.56 in 1956. He served as the A’s pitching coach after his retirement as an active player. His brother Lee pitched in the majors from 1934 to 1941.
