Oscar Jones

A 20-game winner as a rookie, Jones flip-flopped his record to 17-25 in his sophomore year to lead the NL in losses, even though he lowered his ERA from 2.94 to 2.75. He threw 324 innings with 31 complete games in 1903 and 377 innings with 38 complete games the next year, all among the highest figures for post-1900 pitchers.
