Patsy Flaherty

Flaherty didn’t stay long with any ML club, making seven moves in nine seasons. He lost a league-leading 25 games for the White Sox in 1903, giving up 338 hits. Chicago released him with a 1-2 record during the 1904 season. Picked up by the Pirates, he went 19-9, thus finishing 20-11 in his only winning season. Flaherty had dead ball era power and was sometimes used as a pinch hitter or in the outfield.
