Rich McKinney

After batting a career-high .271 for the White Sox in 1971, McKinney, a utility man, was traded to the Yankees for Stan Bahnsen. The Yankees hoped he would be their everyday third baseman, but while Bahnsen won 21 games for Chicago the following year, McKinney hit .215 in 37 games for New York and tied an AL record with four errors at third April 22.
