Rudy Hulswitt

In his first full ML season, 1902, Hulswitt hit .272 for the Phillies and led NL shortstops in putouts. The next season was his best, as he had career highs in games (138), doubles (22), and RBI (58) and again led in putouts. However, he set the post-1900 National League record by making 81 errors. A bad shoulder ended his playing days. He had a long managing career in the minors and scouted for the Red Sox and Braves.
