The record for most consecutive at-bats with a home run is held by numerous players, among them Mickey MantleJimmie FoxxHank GreenbergStan Musial, and Ted Williams, who have all hit homers in four consecutive at-bats. Most recently, the feat was accomplished by Manny Ramirez, who homered in four at-bats over the span of two games in 1998.

In the National League, Dale Long of the Pittsburgh Pirates homered in eight consecutive games, from May 19 to May 28, 1956.

In the American League, the New York Yankees‘ Don Mattingly and the Seattle Mariners‘ Ken Griffey Jr. have both hit homers in eight consecutive games. Mattingly did it in July 1987, and Griffey did it in July 1993.
